I bought 5.1 Polk Audio RTI A9-Cherry High Performance Floorstanding Loudspeakers.
18Hz-27kHz
8 ohms 50-500 w/channel
90 dB
I dont know which amplifier/receiver to buy for these speakers... Speakers power rating is 8ohms 50 - 500w/channel.
What happens if I buy a 100w/channel amplifier? will it produce good quality or need to go for 200w/channel amplifier? Maximum I can see amplifiers with in 100w to 200w only... how can boost 500w/channel to utilize speakers to the peek level?
I want to use in my home as I already got speakers so want utilize them properly using adequate amplifier/receiver. I dont know much about speakers and amplifiers.
Please advice me on how to go ahead and what to buy... Thanks!!!
