I have a Polk audio dsw MicroPro 1000 and it has no power. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I already looked at the fuse in the cord and it was in perfect shape. Opened it up and looked inside but i couldn't see any issues that stood out to me no burns or melted areas. Any help would be wonderful.

Thanks

No internal fuses visible then ?

There is a 6.3 amp fuse in the power input socket. My bet it's blown. Look closely at the 2 green disk devices "varistors" near the power supply main capacitors. Most likely you will find a chunk missing from one or both of them.

What happens is the 1000uf 200 volt capacitors fail, the switching fets fail shorted blow the varistors and the fuse. You may get lucky replacing the caps and the fets, resistors and fuse, but the PS is a poor design with no failure protection other than a fuse, most likely the chopper daughterboard is blown. The daughterboard is no longer available... I need 2 of them :(
