OK so yes it's another of the 'what do I want' posts but I can't find anyone asking the same questions I am, OK, I'll list my kit first

I'm after a device that will replace all the controls I use at the mo, yes all 5, I have had All in One devices before and hated them, the first was a pain in the butt to use, the second ate batteries (till I disaled the tilt switch that brought the back light on). Neither of them would handle sky+ features and I didn't even try with the MCE or X-Box remotes
Can anyone help, I've looked at the 555 but I can't see reference to it working with mce / xbox
