Entertaining podcast as usual.

Regarding the HDMI 2.1 issues on the Denons etc. Some games on PC will hit 4K120 fps with the 3080/3090 nvidia cards , so i guess thats gonna cause blank screen if used with those receivers and a PC.

Great podcast.

Its a good point that the Denon/Maranfz HDMI 2.1 issue does seem to vindicate TV manufacturers for holding off for now.

Steve's cat being off its face, reminds me of when my oldest son some years ago had a split lip that needed stitches and he was not having it. So the emergency room gave him some kind of drug to calm him down and when he came home he was totally wasted. Saw dragons in shadows on the wall from the lights and so on. Was funny but scary at the same time. o_O

Best TV of the month ? "The third day" wins it for me. Even more so that incredible 12 hour live performance on Osea island, which was really scary to watch and very dangerous for the actors - especially Jude Law. Nothing else this month comes close, imo.

Ted Lasso is the best TV of the month on my vote.

Thanks gents - Finally finished this week's edition and another good listen. With regards to the HDMI 2.1 issue, surely the manufacturer and then Denon etc bench tested the equipment before release? Furthermore - why are retailers still selling the units?
