I am Traveling to Florida in Aug this year, and said that I would buy my Daughter a I-Pod for the Trip. I intend to buy her it at the Duty Free at the airport. She would like to play music on it while we are on holiday.
So my question is, if I take my Dell Axim X5 Pocket PC loaded with MP3 Tracks is it possible to then download them to the I-Pod.The tracks will be stored on an SD Memory Card which is in the Dell PPC.

unfortunately you will need to have itunes to install your software, register the ipod and ultimately download your music in a variety of formats including mp3. You could find an internet cafe whilst on holiday and see if they will let you use their pcs to put your music on, the down side is that when you return to the uk and install itunes on your home pc, the music will be wiped off the ipod as it wont be in the itunes library on the pc, not that that will be a problem if you have the original music.

To run itunes you need either a mac or pc with windows xp installed
