    I'm building a workstation for a mate.

    Asus P5AD2-E Premium mobo

After the build the machine will power up ok but no picture. Voice error message says . "System can not start due to cpu overclocking" and "No VGA detected"

So I clear the CMOS and the cpu overclocking warning goes away but I still get the no VGA detected message and no display. The fan on the quadro is spinning and I'm using a normal vga monitor with a dvi to vga adaptor ( the quadro has two and I've tried both).

I suspect the quadro is bust but I think I'll buy a cheapo PCI-E graphics card by way of comparisson that way at least I'll know the mobo is fine.

    Any other suggestions?

picked up a cheap PCIE graphics cards and....machine fires up just fine .
So its the Quadro thats the problem....very impressive for a 500quid graphics card that bases its reputation on reliability...not.
