After a pair of the PMC Wafer speakers, i would prefer the on wall type, but may consider the in wall models.

Eddiewww, I have a pair of Wafer 2 on wall (not in wall) that I just superseded with another pair of PMC's. If you are interested I'll have a word with my local dealer to check what a fair price would be. I'm in S Hampshire.

Replaced by a pair of 20.23's. I bought a new amp and the floor-standers just seemed to sing with it.

Called my dealer (Audio T - who sold them originally) and he suggested £1000 - £1200 (against current list of £2400). Happy to split the difference and say £1100.

Can you post a couple of pictures of them please.
    Also
    Any damage?
    Do you have the packaging?
    Do you have the receipt?
Are they registered for the 20 year warranty?

I was hoping for a number closer to £900.....

    2. No damage but I'll recheck.
    3. No packaging.
    4. I have receipt.
    5. Will need to check with PMC re the warranty.
    6. Let me think about the price.

eddiewww, photos attached. No damage I can see. Spoke to Ian at PMC. 20 year warranty only came in in 2011, before that it was 5 years so they are not eligible. However he said they would always respond reasonably to an out of warranty issue, and also confirmed that the Wafer 2's are current product range and parts still available. I could go down to £1000 on the price. Let me know what you want to do and if you want to proceed we can switch to a private conversation as per forum guidelines.

    Hi Arcadian,
My dealer has a much newer ex demo pair that will have the 20 year warranty for around the same price, so i'll pass for now. Thanks for taking the time to post.

Go for it, my friend. Only thing I would say is that after a while I found them a bit bass heavy, because they were in an alcove not a flat wall. They're awkward to do a home dem but I'd recommend it if you can. Mid-range is sweet.
