Silly question, there's no crossover or speaker terminals on this, am I correct?

There is bare wire where the amp used to feed them but like the normal DB1's the x over is inside.

Its just like a normal speaker now. Was thinking of putting terminals on them but never bothered :)

Sorry to quote the garbage magazine, but are we talking this product?

    PMC DB1S-AII review

Planning to use on a desk in a near-field situation in a small room with Audiolab M-PWR / M-DAC plus combo. Would you recommend these speakers for that purpose?

It is really busting my budget (its for my office system) Would you accept a lower amount for the knowledge that it will be well loved?

    That's very kind.

I note you're South Wales, I'm South London. Happy to do an M4 meet but it would mean 4 hour round trips for both of us.

Would you do £300 posted? Happy to do a BT considering your stellar Avforums reputation

Problem with posting is I have the original two boxes and they are bulky so that will cost a bit.

And I cant get to the post office until Sat mornings so a few days are lost there.

    £325 including postage?

It's quite a punt, even at £300. The lack of speaker terminals at the back is obviously not a problem in a practical sense, but significantly adds to the difficulty in selling if I end up not liking them.

I appreciate you may have already priced that into your valuation, but £300 is my max.

I'm able to send the BT on Friday if agreeable.

Its easy to put terminals on the back but I take your resale point.

    Ok...lets go for it.

PM me your details for postage and I'll get them in the post this sat once the BT is complete.

    I doubt you'll pass them on :)
