    Thanks for the link:smashin:
I think this might be my next PJ. I have a Panny AE100 now and have a buyer for that already.

I'm going to the Event II in Guildford in November, anyone know a shop in the area that can give me a demo of it?

    Sounds yum.

Resolution is astonishing. And the contrast ratio too. Let's hope the prices are keen.

Sanyo themselves are talking around the 2000 euros mark, already seen reports of it advertised in France just below that level - This would point to it coming in around £1400 - this will be some achievement for a 1280x720 projector with the quoted CR level. I've seen video footage of it fired up - not possible to judge quality etc., but the lens shift funtion allows the image to be moved horizontally by half the image width, and fully by the image height vertically - very impressive. Adjustable iris function also clearly effective - lowering brightness, certainly, but with benefit for blacks.

Earlier discussion here might be of further interest.

Have you been looking through my videos again?

    ;)

Where did you see the footage if I may be so cheeky as to ask?

I can see why the specs/price are causing such a stir, but I don't think this will be (to quote from The Matrix) "The One".

May well be proved wrong, but...........

And earlier today I was psyching myself up to buy an ae300 over the weekend... a couple of hundred quid more for a 720p prj sounds like an absolute bargain!

Kramer, what makes you think this prj isnt going to be 'The One'? Forgive me for questioning your judgement, but the specs suggest it will at least be an epson tw100 for a grand less!

PS that video showing the iris and lens function... Im impressed enough to try and remember my highschool German :)
