Plumbing Help

Active Member
Any plumbers out there can give me a bit of advice?

Having problems with the hot tap on my bathroom sink and I'm a bit of a DIY disaster.
When you turn the hot tap on the water pressure is fine but as it starts to heat up the pressure drops until the water stops. This was fine before because all I did was turn the tap on more and it stayed on. Unfortunately now, when you turn the tap on more it gets to the end of the thread before the water comes back ie. no hot water!

The bath is connected to the same hot water pipe and works fine. Kitchen taps, cloakroom taps and central heating all work fine.

Any ideas? Fed up having to shave in the bath
