I am looking at buying a DVD-RW and I'm not sure what to go for. Please can anyone give me any pointers on this?

I am very happy with my Pioneer A04, but if I was buying today, I think I'd get one of these :

No personal experience with the drive, but it's a Sony and supports a lot of formats, so..........
