    Hello folks,

Just wandered if it was worth getting the 5.1 analog by pass fitted to my AV32r when it's away getting repaired or is the PLII music setting just as good.

I've never really listened to any 5.1 music except on the DTS/DD disks.
Is it worth the extra cost involved ??

    Hi Rich,

I have the by-pass, but I never use it because I can't apply TMREQ!
Besides this I prefer listing to music with 2 channels, unless of course it's a live DVD. I'm not impressed at all with most of the multichannel mixes on SACD and DVDA. If you have setup your speakers well, you also can have a very good 3D sound image, and don't need a multichannel mix in my opinion.
