Please recommend me a 1080p 42" lcd TV that also looks good with the Wii!

Hi there, it's me again! I'm happy with my current TV (L32R74BDX) but now I really want a 1080p screen. My main concern is with how Wii games will look on it as I know that other HD content will look great and I couldn't give 2 figs about how freeview looks (As far as I'm concerned, Wii games look fantastic on my R7 Samsung at 6 feet away!) I would consider moving my new TV back a bit though, maybe hanging it on the wall!

So what do you recommend for me? I'd probably like to stay with LCD as Plasma tends to look a bit too soft for my liking and doesn't seem like it gives a pure image with computer images, but if you really think that plasma is the way to go, then by all means tell me so!

I would be using it for Freeview, Wii games (Including VC games) at 480p, 360 and PS3 games in 1080p/i/720p and Bluray movies! Sky HD is still too expensive for me :(

Thanks for the advice, BTW does the LE40F86 do 1-1 pixel mapping over component 480p? (For Wii)

Might upgrade my 360 to the Elite model to get the HDMI output! (Stupid psychonauts doesn't work over VGA )

You wouldn't want it to be 1:1 mapped with the Wii, as it would appear as a tiny box in the middle of the screen. The TV will scale the Wii to its native resolution, just as any LCD would do.

Sorry I meant will it upscale it without any overscan? (Not a big deal if it doesn't, Wii games take overscan into account anyway!)
