i have got a DSPAX750 Yamaha Amp connected to a Panasonic PWD6 via BNC to RCA Component cable into the "Monitor Out"

i can get the Amps menu and stuff to come up but Sky or Xbox does not work!

    :'(

Sky is connected via SCART to S-Video connection, Xbox is also S-Video, but neither work...

if just one didn't work i'd think the wires were wrong, also is the menu didn't come up i'd think, the component cable was faulty....

can anyone suggest something, spent weeks doing my room up and this is a big let down...

    many thanks

    SADif.

Not sure what the situation is with the Xbox with S-video, but Sky does NOT output S-video via the SCART connection - only RGB or composite.

To get S-video with Sky, you have to have a Sky+ and use the S-video connector on that.

i might be grabing at straws here, but is there something in instructions about switchin input options to output options.
ie, the amp should auto switch- if you have s-video in, it will broadcast to monitor via s-video.
but you may have to configure it,to say svideo in- composite out(or whatever you have as a minitor out??
i have a yam 750, and had no problems, but i have straight svideo inputs to s video output with no converters. it may have a problem reading the input information because of the conversion??
i would imagine the amp would fire its on screen display facilities through all of its outputs at the same time to aid easy initial set up?
