hello,
i just had V+ installed (kind of).
I have a Panasonic TH-42PHD7e, which I was told by the engineer isn't compatible with the box, as the panasonic doesn't have a scart connection.
I dont know how my system is set up, but everything is run into my AV receiver, and an S-video lead goes up to the back of the plasma.
I purchased a HDMI terminal board and installed in into my slot 1.
At the moment, I am getting a really fuzzy picture through a S-video cable, whih is broken (which is why I think I am getting a fuzzy picture!!)
In the V+ settings, I selected the HiDef HDMI, but when it tests, I get a blank sceen. Then it reappears with a fuzzy picture, and where the HiDef HDMI was selected, it goes back to 4:3 normal.
I dont know what else to do.
Obviously I am in the process of getting compensation from Virgin, as the engineer basically said he couldn't do it and walked out, but I wondered if someone could try and tell me how to fix the problem.

Many thanks:lease: :smashin:

When you select HDMI, you need to switch your TV input to HDMI straight away. When you do this you should see a message saying "press Text" to accept the changes. If you do not press text it assumes you cannot get a picture and so puts yours settings back to what they were previously (like Windows does when you change your screen resolution).
