I need to replace a Denon Receiver, an older model with Pro Logic only. I have to keep the cost down, and have narrowed the list to the Pioneer VSX-D811S for $299.00 or the JVC RX-8010VBK at $254.00

The Pioneer has newer tech, ie DTS- ES and is 6 channel . JVC is a standard 5 channel Dolb Dig, DTS, PL II. I have had good luck with JVC in the past, but have never purchased a Pioneer. Anybody have an opinion on these brands?

    thanks
