Requirements: 28" Flat widescreen TV, 100Hz scan. Not fussed about sound output as this all goes through AV setup, just after the best picture quality I can get - mainly used for watching DVD movies and the odd bit of TV. Under £400! Research has given me 2 possible challengers so far.... Panasonic TX28PM11 (available for £366 online) JVC AV-28X4 (available also for £366 online) I was going for the panasonic originally as I thought I read what hi-fi name it as their best budget widescreen CRT - am I right in thinking this? Just read a review of the JVC though and it was given best buy and does have the added advantage of 3 scarts (2 being RGB). Anyone compared either of these? Any noticeable difference in quality? Any others to consider?
