I have just installed an Alpine CHA-S634 into my car, to go with my CDA-9833R Headunit.
Both support MP3 playback, something i have been enjoying for a long time with the headunit.

When i try to play my MP3 discs i created, the information displayed on the headunit is wrong. Instead of saying folder 1, it says 2. Instead of 2, 3 etc etc. It also plays the tracks in some random order, not the order they were created.
The discs work fine in the headunit though.

I have scanned the instruction manuals for both, and found that the headunit supports ID3 v1 and v2 whereas the changer only supports v1.

Does anybody have this Cd Changer and have successfully been playing MP3 discs? If so what software do you use to rip the tracks to MP3, and then burn to disk?
I am currently using Musicmatch Jukebox for ripping, and Nero6 for burning.

Any help would be most appreciated as its really annoying me now!!

    Cheers,
