I am ready to build a screen out of blackout cloth, 54" wide. It appears I cannot make screen taller than 52" due to stretching needed. I know size of 16:9 screen is 52"X92", but I can go at least 96" wide if it would be of any benefit. Should I stick with 52"X92" or go a little wider? Would going wider help with the other aspect ratios, 1:85 to1, 2:35 to 1, etc? I really need your help, I want to build screen tomorrow. Thanks a lot.

Unless you intend to reposition your projector and/or operate its zoom control (if it has one) for each different film you watch (ie. depending on the film's aspect ratio) then you should stick with a screen ratio that matches the native aspect ratio of your projector.
