Assuming I have a maximum of £1500 to spend on a new TV, what do you think is the best buy? I currently have a 4:3 28" Toshiba but want something with much larger widescreen images.

From Robert Whyte (walk in customer) I could afford:
    a) Toshiba 36ZP18B 36" direct view @ £1484
    b) Loewe Aconda 32" direct view @ £1300
    c) Toshiba 42WH18B 42" RP @ £1470

I am really not interested in the sound features of the TV as I would be using it as a monitor only, however I would like to use component video as my dvd player supports it.

Which of the 3 above tvs would represent the safest bet in terms of reliability, picture quality and impact? Which other models from other manufacturers I should be considering?

    Any advice appreciated.
