These are my sub options for completing a B&W 600 setup:

    - Infinity SW-12 (12", ported)
    - B&W ASW650 (12", sealed)

My speakers are DM 603 S3, LCR 60 S3, DM601 S3, powering by a Yamaha RX-V1400 receiver (a NAD C272 stereo power amp will be added to front channels).

My listening room is open to dinning room. Overall it measures 25' x 21' with 8' ceiling. Percent music/movies is 50/50.

Could someone please tell me which of these two subs are better for me? thanks

I have not heard the Infinity sub, but I would still be inclined to go with the B+W.
Is there any reason why you are restricted to just those two models though?
Listen to as many subs as you can and pick whichever one sounds the best to your ears.

The B&W I have heard, and it's a good sub....but as Mroizouk says.....don't limit yourself to just two subs...try as many as you can, with your own system.
Most dealers are happy to let you loan equipment, and it really is worth it with something as potentially difficult to integrate as a sub.

Those are suggested by my dealer, with whom I have good relations and I prefer to buy from him.

Actually, I'm inclined toward B&W, but it is a sealed design, and as my room is not small, maybe it is not a good choice for me. Am I right?

Not at all....sealed subs can work just as well as ported designs, and it all comes down to the interaction of the sub with the room, careful positioning and good setup....try it before you buy it.
It IS a good sub,but you really must try it first and spend a bit of time setting it up.

    alexs2,

    Thanks for your replies.

I also have a very good deal on PSB Subsonic 6 (not 6i). It is 12 in and ported design. It's RMS power of 130W seems a bit low on paper. Have you heard anything about it?
