I have recently purchased a Denon 2805 amp. I am currently using it purely for audio processing but have just realised that I have component inputs in my Toshiba 36 Picture Frame.

I was just wondering if there would be a noticable difference if I start using the Denon amp for the video as well as audio.

I currently use scarts to connect Sky+ through a Philips DVD R70 recorder (no component outs by the way) to my Tv.

Can I get leads relevant leads ie RGB to Component etc. I am a bit of a newbie regarding the component side of things so please excuse me if it was a completely daft question.

    Many thanks for any advice.

doubtful you would see much improvment as you would just have to convert the RGB signals to Component...

You could get an RGB scart to s video and then convert it that way i think.

So there is not point in using an S-Video out of Sky+ into the Denon over RGB straight to tv??

    Cheers

Bob really is my mothers brother! and you are right it is pointless him doing it but he asked if he could do it.

Also i recommend a decent rgb only wired scart cable dont go over the top but a decent one helps. I have the rgb squart by QED improvements i found were in the movement of objects (like footballs) and the colours became much more vivid.
