Hi, I would really appreciate some pointers or ideas on which TV to go for.
Ive done the rounds of the local stores and my short list based on whats available is below. Now as I live in the middle east im assuming some of the product codes will differ slightly from the UK/US and Euro codes but the TV's should be similar ish.
Advice ive been given varies from store to store, I used to sell this stuff many years ago and its embarrassing how out of touch ten years makes you!
My requirements:
65inch (just sold a 60' and my viewing distance is now a touch larger so increase in size is a requirement)
Flat mount to the wall
Viewing distance 3.6metres
Source Marantz UD7007
TV will solely be used for DVD/Blu Ray viewing (yup that's it)
Id love one without smart features but unfortunately that's not possible.
The model codes are as per below, all TV's are priced within 165GBP/250USD (roughly) from the cheapest to the most expensive.
Sony KD65X8500C
Samsung UA65JU7000
Samsung UA65JU7500 (Curved)
Panasonic TH65CX700
Im just confusing myself reading one review after another and comparing specs, plus finding an actual group test of the above is not possible or from what I can see online.
