Firstly two apologies. One for knowing absolutely nothing about connection and installation issues, and two if there's another thread about this I haven't read.

I have just bought a new LG flat screen lcd TV. Very nice it is too, but I am unable it seems to connect my PS2. There doesn't appear to be the correct sockets on the TV to fit in the yellow, white and red plugs (don't you just love my technical nouse?). There are 6 different coloured sockets that look like they could work, but they don't. There is a white and a red one, but still no use.Is there another way of connecting the console to the TV? Maybe using a special scart.

    Many thanks in advance.

With your PS2 you got a scart convertor to connect it by scart. If you dont have it anymore go to maplins and get a 3-phono to scar convertor

Or you could buy an svideo or RGB lead to improve picture quality and connect that way :)

Would recommend RGB over the scart adaptor, brighter colours & sharper details.

What LG set is it? Advance apologies for getting 'techy' but does it have component sockets?, they look llike normal phono sockets(the yellow, white, red ones that you mentioned) but they are coloured Red, Green and Blue and usually have something like Y,Pb,Pr written near them. As if it does this will give you the best picture from your PS2(or even better a compatible DVD player)
