Interesting article causing a few ripples today!
PLAYSTATION 4 DETAILS
Unfounded rumour. Definitely not going to be the PS4. If anything it will be a revised version of the PS3 assuming it's true.
Playstation 3 Elite?
It is possible. Console revisions have been done in the past, e.g. PS1, PS2, Gameboy Advance, DS, etc. The 360 being the most recent. I think it's pretty much a given there will be a revision in the PS3 hardware it's just a matter of when.
Just preordered mine from Play with three games inc Genji Returns, bad movie and a SDMI cable. (not invented yet either)
wonder if the sony insiders intitials are BG
Cant see Sony releasing info like this 6 weeks into euro launch, maybe in 2 years time they may but yet..
I do wonder sometimes about some of the speculation and its links to a certain seattle based software company. Can't prove it though, except to say rumours of an imminent price drop, a new model etc. however unfounded (as this one was) are sure to put people off buying.
When I see things like this I tell myself, 'no you will not buy a x360, even for Halo, because MS people are scum'.
Erm, Sony are hardly whiter than white. Seems silly to me to not buy a product because you think one multi national conglomerate is more "scum" than another.
At the end of the day they all want your money and don't care how they get it.
Here here Dave, I think people forget sometimes that ALL these companys, Well most, Will do almost anything to get your hard earned cash, Lets be honest if anyone has lied over the past six months its been Sony with thier shameless PS3 bull.
Im going to ask an honest question - do you either work for Sony or are you in need of mediaction.
You post defending everthing to do with Sony (no better than MS) on all boards I read.
You are PS3 BluRay fan but I bet if MS had the PS3 and BluRay and Sony the 360 and HD-DVD you would be posting the opposite.
You act like Sony are your football team - if you are older than 16 then grow up please
