Playing with Photoshop

Hi,

Fairly new to Photography as I only just bought a DSLR

Been playing around with some old pictures taken on an old 3.1mp pentax optio s

would appreciate any comments good or bad

Really like number 2. What did you change from the original pci? Been playing with photoshop myself

had a little play with number 1 , slight sharpening , debrightened , desaturated

In shot 1, I would be careful so you don't blow the highlights and I'd crop it so the subjects aren't in the centre of the frame.
In shot 2, I would brighten up the cat, it's way too dark and also watch for blown highlights in the background.
