Playing video files without XP media centre

    Hi, is there any way to play video files like mpeg without XP media centre:rolleyes: . I can view pics and play mp3's , So why did'nt Bill Gates let us stream video without having to buy another Microsoft product the money grabbing :nono:

    All videos have to be in WMV format for the 360 to play them - that's the only format it recognises. So your choice is either get some software to convert your videos into WMV's or get a different piece of software that can transcode them on-the-fly and stream them to your 360.
