Playing US Demo's on a JAP Machine

Hi there,

Was hoping someone could answer this for me.

If I got a JAP Import PS3, could I register a US address on it and play demos from the US demo stores? Or is it region locked for addresses like the Wii is (i.e cant use diff region wii points etc.)

Yes, you can.

I have downloaded about 6 or 7 demo games so far and all work perfectly on my Jap PS3!

Point to note: Try to get a "Made in Japan" PS3 like mine. I have seen many "newer" sets which are "Made in China"
