Is it really possible to play games like zelda without yearning for the traditional style controller.

I ask as I get RSI from joypad use & would love to get back into gaming if I can avoid lots of thumb bashing.

I love zelda with the new control scheme. Not missing the gamepad one bit.

Yes it plays fine, infact may be better for you as it least you arms are not fixed in one central position - go try it!!!

Yeah I like the way I can play Zelda lounging around with my arms in a natural position rather than being forced to sit centrally.

Another thing to remember is that you don't have to play games like on the adverts. Subtle movements of the wrist are enough to draw your sword etc so it isn't as strenuous as the adverts make out [although you can play this way]. In fact I find sitting to play baseball much more effective than playing 'properly'...

I agree with dodger. Wiimote in Zelda is easier, more comfortable and less work that an standard controller. I think it's mainly because your hands aren't rigidly fixed 6 inches apart holding the controller. You can just lounge about with your arms in a relaxed position and there's no button bashing because you just have to shake the Wiimote to attack stuff.

I thought it was going to be tiring and hard work using Nintendo's new controller, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Having said that, if you play Wii Sports, you will end up with aching muscles
