I have a Sony HDR-CX6 camcorder and a UK spec PlayStation 3 with patch v1.80 installed.

After recording footage onto the memory stick (Pro Duo 4gb), I inserted the memory stick into the PS3 hoping to see the footage without any hassle.

Unfortunately I get the message "There are no titles" when trying to view the contents of the memory stick.

I have played the contents on the camcorder and it is definitely there, there just seem to be a compatibility problem between the Sony Camcorder and Sony PS3.

    Can anyone help?

Are you 100% sure that the source of your Memory Stick can be trusted to have sold you a genuine one?

Try copying the files to its HDD or burning them to a DVD-R..There is no compatibility problem with AVCHD ( and indeed) m2t and the PS3

Found out what the problem was.

The PS3 supports AVCHD from patch version 1.90 and above, once this was installed all was well.

    Thanks for your replies
