playing MP4's on pc.

I have a number of .mp4 videos that i want to play on my pc (made using my mobile phone and some on my psp).

Windows media player just throws up errors (using version 10) about unsupported file format. Does anyone know a method i can use to get media player to play this or maybe another media player that i can use which won't hack all my other media files (still want them to default to windows media player).

I am using xp sp2 on a pentium 3 with a radeon 9200 if that helps.

Quicktime should play them fine, also quicktime alternative is worth a try to play them in Media player itself.

VLC Player (google for it) free download and plays ANYTHING!!
