I would like to burn JPEG images and MPEG and AVI video clips from a digital camera to CD-R to view them on my TV via my DVD player.

My current DVD recognises MP3 files on a CD-R but nothing else. I know that some DVD players do handle JPEGs and MPEGs but does anyone know which DVD players these are?

You can do all this with what you currently have, just convert all your videos to VCD or SVCD and use something like nero to burn them. As for the jpegs, you can get programs that will make an avi movie from them, which you can then convert to Mpeg and burs as before.

if you use nero I think you need the plug in for the svcd. But I tried it on a cd rw and it works perfectly only problem is that there is no index and you have to go one by one on the remote like a manual slide show
