I downloaded a HI Def wmv trailer.

When I played it on my laptop it was jerky in WMP. After reading a bit I installed the ACE Mega Codecs pack. I now get sound and no picture.

    Can anyone help :lease:

Laptops are not the best things for viewing video, especially HD. There's lots of "cut corners" in laptops to keep power consumption down and reduce bulk, but unfortunately this usually means that they don't perform as well as desktop PC's.

WMV trailers don't need codec packs as they are natively supported in WMP. How fast is your laptop? I've had 720p WMV trailers work fine on a Dell P4 1.8GHz and up to 1080p24 WMV on a Dell Centrino 1.6GHz.
