Playing HD video files from my Lacie NAS drive

    Hi. What device could stream HD video files (.mkv, .wmv9 HD etc.) from my Lacie NAS disc mini (it's a UPNP device with a media server) and output them to a v1.3 HDMI output. Thanks for any tips :thumbsup:

    Sofar there is only one which has announced that it will be HDMI 1.3 capable, being the Dvico TViX M6500a. It´s also the most expensive alternative.

    There seems to be consensus on the board that the Popcorn Hour NMT (see its thread on this forum) is a close alternative. Though it´s rumoured to have "only" HDMI 1.1 support, it actually is based on the same chipset, so everybody is anxiously awaiting arrival of the Dvico so that the comparisons may start to be based on the actual thing instead of only on the rumours. ;)
