Playing games problem...

Well I used to be able to play games fine on my PC, but now whenever I start one up, the screen constantly flickers whilst in full screen.

By flickering I mean, it rapidly switches between the game display itself, and the desktop (and whatever windows are open, so you can see the desktop and window outlines over and over).

Not only is it annoying and lags the game itself, it leaves it pretty much unplayable (although the game runs as normal - it's just something to do with the display).

Like I said, I used to be able to run it perfectly, and I haven't made any changes to my computer or monitor since, and I've used the same games.

It even does it in a very simple game like a PS1 game that I have installed.

Changing resolutions in-game didn't help, and I don't know how to fix it....help please??

EDIT: I'm certain it's nothing to do with my PC specs, as like I said I've played the games before and it's ran fine...it just happened all of a sudden.

Woops...never mind guys, I just found the simple solution to it.

All I had to do is right click the exe, and change the window type from normal to maximised - no flickering!

Lock/delete topic now.
