    Hello Y'all
I am looking at getting a panny DMR-Es10, it looks a great buy for £200

To be honest i will be using it mainly for playback, but like the idea of being able to record my old vids on to it aswell as some of my Sky+ progs!

At the moment I am playing my dvds through my slimline Ps2 (s-Video connection), viewed on a brand new Sony 32Dx200 Tv, Will i see much difference in picture and sound quality with this panny as opposed to my Ps2???

anybody have one of these dvd players/recorders? any feedback?
    Cheers

I don't know what the more recent PS2's are like for dvd playback but my old PS2 isn't too great with regards picture. As the Panasonic has scart RGB output and your new set has that ability then you should get a better picture with the Panasonic. To be honest a cheap £20 dvd player using a RGB scart lead should beat the PS2 as you are only using s-video with it.

The older PS2s also had a problem with lip syinc on quite a few DVDs.
