Play TS files in ZoomPlayer

    Given many here have a collection of .TS file there are currently a limited number of players capable of playing them .. both TT and VLC in my experience are poor at it.

    I just came across this filter which lets ZoomPlayer and even WMP play transport streams .. haven't tried it yet but it looks something worth a look.

    I don't remember Zoomplayer having a problem playing my ripped DVDs.

    Um, are we talking about the same thing? How did you rip DVDs to TS format? Without this I know of no way to play .TS files in ZP.

    Interesting, what does 'ts files without PAT and PMT don't play' mean? It's in the list of known issues?

    No idea :) .. maybe more info to be had on AVS, I got that link I posted off Doom9.

    I rip my DVDs using DVDshrink so that you have a standat DVD structure ir Video_TS Video.ifo etc

    I'm referring to hidef transport streams recorded from cable and satellite broadcasts, they're not the same format as DVDs AFAIK.
