play timer sound only once

The android build in timer can be set to automatically mute after 1 minute. I am looking for a solution to play the sound only once, instead of an endless loop until auto mute kicks in. I also use Google Assistant with this timer.

As a workaround i'll download a sound notification and add 1 minute of silence to the audio file. I think it could work.

Is there a less idiotic approach?

oh, and where do i store this audio file such that it isn't automatically found by my media libraries?

Another problem i have now is that while it works the timer still blocks my entire screen making the phone unusable until i manually turn off the timer...
