Decided to spend my Xmas cash on some US TV boxsets of shows I've never seen but which are all highly regarded.

I got season 1 of The Shield in the HMV sale on Saturday, am trying to track down Homicide: Life On The Street, and for the first time in ages I ordered a couple of items from Play - Law & Order season 1 and NYPD Blue Season 1.

I ordered these on Sunday evening and amazingly Law & Order shipped later that night (supposedly) and I see from my order history page that it's coming via recorded delivery - have they been doing this again for a while now ?

In my experience a dvd over a certain value will always ship via Recorded, all my Deep Space Nine Boxsets have come Recorded but other dvds like Red Dwarf have always come normal first class.
