hey guys I had ordered Laurence of Arabia on reg 2 superbit. Play say it was posted on July10th (9 days ago). It still aint arrived. My reg 2 dvds from them normally take at the most 4 days. Is anyone else having delays??? Or has this dvd gone AWOL cheers
Hang on I have just had a look at my account on Play. Yesterday it said that the above dvd was posted on 10/7. Now it says posted on 17/7. What are they playing at. shaun
Play's dispatch dept. can be a bit erratic. Wait till you're faced with the moral dilemma of what to do when they send you two copies of a DVD and charge for one.
Just received my R2 version of Ghost Ship posted on the 17th...so only took two days (or is that three if you count the day it was posted).
...or when you send a disc back 'cos it's not wanted, they refund you, and then send out another copy of the disc, which you end up getting FOC
Ever since they stopped the registered posting its got a bit mad. most of the time i find them ok but on occasions they have let me down. But in there defence, they always come good! Snowman
Well I have had enough. The site now says that this dvd is not released until september, yet my order history says posted on 17th July. It still aint arrived. They debited my card on the 11th of July. I have e mailed them with no reply and I have tried ringing them lots with no answer. So, i now have to contact my credit card company to file the complaint. They did the same thing to me on my last order, it seems that they just change the shipped date as and when they please. In the end I had to phone up to arrange another one to be posted, as it never came.
Hi I finally got sorted out. Eventually they answered the phone. I spoke to a nice guy who said that the normal Arabia dvd had been put into the superbit shelf by mistake But nothing had actually been sent. He refunded my credit card and re ordered my dvd due for release in September.
DVDSoon have done that on the one and only time I ordered from them Have Goonies on order at the moment so I'll let you know if it happens again, if it does suffice to say they'll be getting a hell of a lot of business from me in future
I always treat the various companies with the same sort of honesty that I in turn would expect. I always send back discs sent in error or as duplicates.
