2 week ago i ordered a copy of 300 from amazon from one of its sellers,
tyson electronics in the uk and they said they had it in stock and they were based not 15 miles from me so i ordered it.
After 4 day of not receiving 300 i emailed them about tracking it,
they emailed back saying it could not be tracked because it was standered post,
But she will send me another copy, another week went by no film emailed them again same reply, sorry cant track item send you another copy,
Its now been over 2 weeks something fishy is going on and tsyon are big sellers on amazon i dont think they have been truthful with me.

Now Play.com on the other hand are remarkable 2 days at the most and these disks are coming all the way from jersey.

Surely this thread is about a 3rd party seller then and not amazon? And since its been 2 weeks, I would contact amazon directly. Reminds me of that thread from that guy who ranted about the delivery guy leaving his parcel on the doormat but ranted about amazon instead  No offence

The only DVD I bought from 3rd party sellers was Lion King, as its on moratorium

Other than that I always buy direct. Too many retailers to name. I don't stick to just one

Its only Amazon for the payment platform, otherwise its the marketplace seller who is to blame

Btw there are loads of good internet retailers with reliable delivery and bargain prices ... just check out the DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray Movie Bargains forum and the DVD Suppliers, Movie Download Sites & DVD Technology forum

As with LFC_SL, I try to avoid third party merchants and eBay for DVDs as they're usually cheaper direct from a UK/Channel Islands or overseas retailer after a price search at www.find-dvd.co.uk or www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk, otherwise I might use Caiman a reliable US/R1 Marketplace seller on Amazon who sometimes have fantastic prices

Amazon handle the payment side. The 3rd party seller are still responsible for shipping the product to you and for returns. As I said it is time to contact Amazon as I presume they have a procedure for their marketplace

This could have just as easily happened on playtrade on play.com. FYI many of the Amazon marketplace sellers also operate on play.com

Edit: And here we are!: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=3149571

I had a no delivery from a market trader who then went into hiding and left amazon and I got a full refund from amazon, so quite pleased myself.
