Hello all - just about to pick up a couple of discs at Play (nothing unusual there) when I got a certificate authority warning message saying that the site may be dodgy or there may be some other problem..I'm using mozilla and bought from PlayUSA just last week - do you reckon it should still be cool or should I contact them to let them know that there may be a security issue - sorry if I'm being paranoid, it's a speciality of mine

    Berth

NB Just thinking.. I installed a Windows security update yesterday do you think there may be a connection there?

That's possible. I have bought from play hundreds of times and they have always been fine. I'm sure if you want to contact them they will look into it.

I've also bought many, many times from Play (.com and USA) without any problems. If you are concerned, do get in touch with them.

Could be the site not having the correct or up to date security certificate which is true for the vast majority of sites.

My guess is that there site cert is in the process of being renewed, or its a server firewall issue for them.
We have had this too... the site is 100% a secure as its always been though.

    Hope this helps...

I got that warning on playusa yesterday too, so it's not your computer at fault.
I logged into my account (thought the site may have been hijacked or something) and all my details were there and correct.
    Play.com seems OK though.

I had similar problems with Mozilla and ended up taking it off my computer. No problems since.

Seemed to clash with certain security protocols and caused firewall issues.
