Plasmas and heat

Hi, i have an old Hitachi 32PD3000 plasma and i want to wall mount it in the conservatory but in the recent heatwave ive seen the temp rise to 40c... will this be ok for the tv?

The AV boxes on these TV's get very hot, even at normal room temperatures. I would not risk 40 C.

Definitive guide for operating range will be the manual. However, I would imagine that you would not actually be viewing the plasma when the temperature inside the conservatory is 40 degrees. YOU are more likely to break down under those conditions! If it is switched off at those temperatures, I doubt you will have problems.

I have a yamaha electric piano in my conservatory (recently reached 46 degrees in there!). It still works.
