I am going to mount my panny 5 series over the fireplace when I move into my new house. Although this is a working fireplace I had not planned to use it (due to the heat issue on the plasma). However according to this website it's only harmful to the plasma if it's turned on, and if the temperature diurectly behind the screen is 90 degrees of greater.

Can anyone confirm that this is correct?

    Cheers
