    hi people i am a bit stuck at the mo. im after my first plasma but the thing is i dont know which model to get i like the panasonic 42pv500 or the pw7 the proplem is i dont think ill need a hd plasma because the picture on sky digital is dodgy the best of times so i wouldnt trust them with hd . it would be too expensive anyway what the lcd technolgy like i like the look of the phillips ones the equipment i have is a sony sky digi box .sony ns585 dvd player modded xbox . denon 3802 with tannoy speakers

    what equipment have you got, what stuff do you watch?

    Well, I've just got a 37PV500, and the SKY picture seems amazing to me. We don't watch the crap channels anyway, so I haven't had a chance to check them out. CeeBeebies looks crisp and clean, the credits on movies are clear with no pixellation. Really can't fault it so far - miles better than any Pio or previous Panny I've seen. YMMV.
