    I'll take a stab and say you're into B & O gear.
Have u seen their new plasma?
    Looks like a Picture frame..

I saw it whilst i was on business in Cheshire.
The picture is superb............as was the price!!!!!!!!

I think it was over £10000.00

..I'm thinking of that OR the Avant 32CD - Harrods said they coudl make it region free - don't know how reliable that is..

Then again with 150 region 1's and 5 regions 2's why not het a fixed to region 1

I'm lucky in that i have a local disc dealer specialising in reg 1.
    ( laserdisc shop )

    decisions , decisions..

    Apart from £ ( 13k - bit much - 7-8 is ok ) , main prob w/ plasma - the great 'burn-in' conundrum..that REALLY bothers me.

I suppose you could probably do the most damage in the first
    few months of buying one......
As long as your contrast etc...is not set too high, you dont leave
the channel on something like Sky News etc....all day long, i think
    you'll be quite ok.....
I've read on the net, that some plasma makers have incorporated
    a type of screen-refresher into the design....something like a
picture position shift every so often to avoid the potential of screen burns.....Sounds quite a nice idea to me.......
I think plasma technology has got better, and i've seen some very
nice pictures from a few panels..............
