Family has ordered Hitachi 42PD5300 and i want to secure this investement using a UPS as power supply. I m thinking of a small UPS (like the one i use for my pc MGE Ellipse premium 500) since this TV hasnt power consumption more than 30W according technical specification.
Whats y opinion? please let me know :)

You are reading the spec of the Multi-Media box !

The plasma screen itself consumes about 360W (depends on screen brightness). I would advise a UPS of at least 1000VA. You can get these from Ebuyer fairly cheaply. I'd advise the 1200VA unit.
