Plasma TV advice

Hi guys,

I am looking for a plasma tv with a resolution for 1024*748 so that i can hook up a small computer to it via DVI cable for all my downloads and movies in my computer.

IT should also has a component output to my AV receiver (Yamaha AVX750)

Preferably looking at spending about 2k-3k for a good plasma and a 42 inch should suffice (i hope!)

any tips and advice will be greatly appreciated.

 

Pioneer 43MXE1 has to be the one.

Recommend Joe Fernand as supplier - can do it for sub £3k inc delivery.

 

only other option would be Panny's HD 6 series plasma £3.5k ish

 

im currently using a Hyundai 42" as a monitor for my new pc - I am currently playing DOOM 3 on ultra high at 1680 x 1280 and it runs perfectly - although I can run it at higher res without any problems occuring (its just that it makes the writing onscreen so damn tiny) . Here is my machine spec so you have a comparison - but i have had no problems whatsoever - just be sure to switch the tv on first before you turn on the PC or the PC wont detect the TV

but i am pretty sure that the hyundai is an 852x480 res screen, perhaps try runnning it at lower res and pixel mapping 1:1, should give you the best results.
