    Quite simply if i have £3000 to spend on a 42" plasma which is the best one to buy.

    Sony KE-P42XS1. PQ is very good and it looks stunning in the livingroom.

    Does it have to be a TV (i.e. with tuner), or would you be happy with a display.

    If you have Sky or Freeview I would definitely take a look at the Panasonic PHD7.

    cheers todda after consideration needs to have tv tuner, been looking in depth at panasonic TH-42PE30B looking good best price i can find is £2374 unless of course anyone knows better
