    Good evening,
I have recently moved to England and have bought a Panasonic Plasma 42" THPE30. I wish to connect this to SKY+ here and I would like some help please. Some friends of mine suggest to use a RGB scart, others say it is best to use a S-video to Scart cable. Which one would you recommend please? I think that if I use the seconds option I only have video and no sound; do I need another connection?? Thank you very much for any help you can give me.
    Ciao!

Alternatively, connect the Sky+ optical out to your amp (assuming the amp has an optical in) and you'll get Dolby Digital 5.1 on the channels that support it.

Just thinking of what Mep suggested. Is it really worth it to invest money for a JS Scart to VGA converter? What are the advantages? Also, the screen I have has a VGA input in the front. Quite unsightly!!. What do I gain in picture quality with such a converter as opposed to the othe 2 options? Whre can I see one of this converters working? (I live in the Brighton area). Again thanks for your advice.

to be honest if you are happy with scart stick with it...i forgot vga was on the front on your screen....you can also get a scart to component converter if you have component inputs but getting a demo of either js box may be tough unless a member with one lives near and sees this.
